Open Days Each year the Club runs several Open Days when members of the public are invited to try their hand at playing lawn bowls on our green. The aim is to introduce new people to the game, explain how it is played and provide some coaching.
OPEN DAYS
We have 2 Open Days coming up and these are on SUNDAY MAY 10th and SUNDAY JUNE 14th
If you are keen to start a new interest or do something new & make new friends whilst keeping fit, then come along and try your hand at playing lawn bowls.
We will show you how to play, using our Club’s bowls.
And it’s absolutely free! All we ask is that you wear flat shoes so as not to damage the green.
Our most experienced players will teach you the basics of how to play.
You will definitely have a chance to bowl on our six-rink green and be coached as you play.
For information about our Open Days please see our How to Become a Member page.
Skills Days From time to time, the Club runs one or more Skills Days, where coaching is provided for both new bowlers and those who would like to improve their game.
