OXHEY BOWLS CLUB                                                                                                 

                                                              WELCOME

Oxhey Bowls Club is a very friendly club, which was founded in 1910 and is located behind Waford Heath on Pinner Road, Watford .

The Club has 6 outdoor rinks and a Clubhouse , with a bar.

Informal bowling sessions are held during the week together with a variety of both internal and external competitions for Men’s, Women’s  and Mixed Teams . Many League and friendly Interclub competitons are also arranged throughout the season .

New members are warmly welcomed and many existing members are always happy to coach beginners to the game .

The outdoor season runs from approximately May to September each year and a varied programme of different bowls events are available  during the season.

We also hold regular weekly social events such as Arts & Crafts Sessions,  Bridge, Cribbage, Whist and Coffee mornings , which are in aid of local charities.

The Club also organises social events throughout the year such as Quizzes, Race Nights , Themed events such as  St Georges Day & Burns Night celebrations  for example , that allows  members to get together during the non-bowling season
