BINGLEY CUP

The Annual Bingley Club Competition was held on August  Bank Holiday Monday and , as always , there was a big turn out .

The weather was kind to us , to start , but then the heavens opened and forced us all into the Club House for tea !!

When the rain stopped , we finished the Competiton with Terry Willson and Maria Whittaker  taking the Cup.

Well done to both of them. It  was a really fun afternoon’s bowling.

After the competition ended ,  the Club Captain , Ken and his wife, Carole and their trusty band of helpers , organised a BBQ which was very well received . As this was their 18th year of organising this event , you can imagine that it all went really smoothly and  was a huge success.

The Bingley Cup event is also  when our annual  Summer Raffle is drawn and  the proceeds raised over £1000 for the Club so heartfelt thanks to everyone who sold tickets and made this possible.
